I'd offer to let you stay with us, but I don't know how well my W would respond to "This is Chrissy who I met on a marriage problems website and who is separating from her H and worried about he might do to her." Do you have any friends you could stay with temporarily? I know that if any of my friends needed a place to stay during this sort of transitional period, I wouldn't hesitate. Can you get some assistance from a local church for awhile? If you lived near me, I know our church would glady help out with rent/utilities for a couple months until you found a better job.
