I haven't seen you on my thread since I asked if you had a hotline to God. Were you insulted, or is it just coincidence? It did sound snarky, but wasn't meant that way.
I am a lot like your W, I think. We've always had one camera and I'm happy with that b/c I organize all the photos.

Just busy! I've been staying up with your thread though. You seem to be handling things very well so no need for my input. But rest assured I'm following your sitch. You were very wise to not get angry with your H about being late to pick up the kid's. That's YOUR control issue. Not that it's OK for H to be late, but you found a way to handle it without getting angry with him. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! When I read this, I actually realized that I have been praying regularly, but not meditating on my situation. I've been asking for guidance, but not giving Him the chance to give it to me. So I did that yesterday, and I got the same old answer: hold on. I saw a picture of my H looking happy, and then a woman next to him...and it was me. I did a little test to see if this was my own desire or what, by trying to change the woman to someone else, and trying to change him to someone else with me...neither worked! Or rather, it felt forced.
So, back to holding on.
Thanks, Nic

I just wanted to share a recent email from my former WAW. Just a little background. We've had a few discussions recently that where honest, and candid. A little stress, that we pulled through beautifully. Here's her message.
Quote: There are certainly night's when I'd rather go to sleep but I do understand that it's about the only time we have to talk. In truth, I don't want you to ever feel bad about bringing up your feelings, negative or not. It's important for me to know what you're feeling. I don't consider that selfish at all. How can we express ourselves without being selfish even a little? There is no other way to share your feelings. Thanks for all you've done for our relationship!
It just reminds me that there is a time and place to discuss our feelings. Just not every day. There's got to be a break. That way, the once in awhile that feelings get discussed, they get some credibility, and some honest concern. I also like the

In my mind it's her saying "thanks for changing"!

Amy, Several years ago when I was in a dark and ugly place, "the dark night of the soul", I made a promise to God that if He showed me the way into the light, if he saved me, then I would do everything I could to help guide others through the darkness. It warms my heart that I've actually been able to help one of His children.
Your story has also been an inspiration to me. I feel the Holy Spirit in all of your last six posts or so. The classic peeling of the onion. I've heard that saying many times but I've never experienced it quite so vividly as what you've just come through. I'm honored and blessed to have been able to experience that. It's a deeply spiritual transformation that's happened in you.
Now be prepared because as you come out of the darkness, sometimes you think you're totally out, and then you fall back in. That's completely normal you may ebb and flow for awhile. The dark night that you've traveled through, and are still probably in is a spiritual calling. That's why you transformed when you finally yeilded everything to God. I don't know why or how I'm saying this it's just gushing out. So hopefully it's the HS talking.
God loves you AmyC and He'll always be close to you. He's going to use you for great things. It's not about your M, it's about your soul, eternity with you Father in heaven. Our time here on earth is but a drop in the bucket compared to eternity in heaven. Consider yourself lucky and blessed to be a chosen one. A daughter who's leading God's children through the dark night.
You are an awesome and gifted woman. I can't wait to see where you go from here. God Bless You!
