In an effort to avoid hijacking Chromes thread, I thought I'd start one for Lost. There seems to be a couple people out there who are fans of the show so I thought this might be a fun place to talk about it!

H and I are huge Lost Nerds! We've been examining the map for a week now and have about a bizillion theories as to what the whole thing is about!

So, last nights episode...what did you think? What is "Henry's" story?

And how freaky was all that with Hurley??

Love to hear you thoughts!

Nicky

My wife and my DS17 watch it every Wednesday night. A lot of theories bouncing around, like, they're all really dead, etc.

I find that if I really start thinking about it, my head hurts, so I just kind of take it all in. But one thing I do love to do while watching it: predict what's going to happen next. For example, last night, when the psychiatrist took a picture of Hurley at the lunch table, I paused it (thank you DVR!) and said, "his friend doesn't exist. It's like Brad Pitt's character in 'Fight Club.' "

Loved last night's show. I enjoy Hurley's character! The show totally reminded me of a Season 5 Buffythe Vampire Slayer episode with a very silimar premise: This is not the real world and then playing with all the excentricities of the show to try to prove it. (My wife is a big buffy fan and had me watch it). Once I figured out how both episodes were similar, then I realized where it was all going.. he had to do something to "break" from the island world, which would have actually killed him.

What I didn't expect is seeing the Libby at the institution. What does THAT mean and now how is she connected?

As for Henry? Great character! He's so shifty! Sayid almost had him spilling his guts but then dumb Ana Lucia messed it up.

What I thought was interesting is Henry's claim to have never inputed any numbers into the computer. Is that true? Did the system just reset itself and thus the numbers don't really do anything...

Can't wait for next week, and all of today's office talk!

Yeah, I loved what they did with Hurley and Dave. Very cool. I honestly didn't catch on to that. Seems obvious after the fact. I keep wondering about Libby too. She says earlier that she is a psychologist/psychiatrist, is she lying? Is she really one and couldn't handle the pressure and ended up loony like Hurley? OR is it a con? Is she conning Hurley? (Of what I don't know, but, it seems to be a common theme amongst the Losties).

Henry is by far the most exciting character so far. Yeah, Ana Lucia sure picked a fine time to have a conscience, huh? Although would Sayid have really killed him?? I would hope to think not, but I think Sayid is starting to loose it. The island is getting to him.

If what Henry said is really true about the numbers…it’s going to be a big blow to Locke. He has put so much faith into that computer. It’ll be disheartening to him if it didn’t mean anything. Locke puts way too much trust into people.

Can’t wait for next week!!

Nicky

PS: Love the idean of trying to guess what is going to happen next...to bad we don't have Tivo!

I won't watch it until tonight (Thursday). I was at my cousin's house last night for Passover, and when we all got home, we decided to wait until tonight.

So, this thread is off limits for me for the rest of the day!

Oh, go ahead and spoil away....I'm just not going to click (of course, I did click on this one...but it's the last time, I swear). You'll just have to do without my comments until tomorrow. Poor kids.

HG: I know how could they do that...? He was one of my favorite characters.
