Oh boy how I wish my H would think of things the way you do!
But then, he's the WAS in MLC, so of course he wouldn't.

Yes, you might be pushing it, not giving her a chance to miss you. It takes a LONG time for that to happen. Particularly if she's having fun. My H busys himself with so much work and errand running, he doesn't give himself a chance to miss me. He tries not to think about it at all, if he can help it. It's going to take a long long time for him to even sense my absense I think. Especially since I am alone for the first time and have had to call upon him for help several times already. 1) needed directions 2) flat tire 3) car battery died. [Definitely after this, I'm calling road service.]

I keep making the mistake of getting into R talk about every other time I see him. He starts it off, and I forget and open my big mouth and start telling him things. I won't make that mistake again.

You're just lucky she is willing to do activities with you. That says something, and it probably won't take her as long to miss you badly, but at the same time I do think you should back off and find other people to enjoy things with. I know it's hard - I'm struggling with it myself; but you need to be prepared if she doesn't come back. [I keep telling myself this, believe me!]

Anyway, good luck with your sitch. It's never easy.
