I found this site after being divorced for over a year. Good time to find this board???? Better late than never though.

I have been reading some of your posts and I am amazed to see people still here after being divorced for a long time.

In the beginning I thought I would die, but I prayed and prayed and prayed. One day I just gave up on trying to figure what my X was doing or why, thats the first I felt peace.

I am lonely at times but I don't need to have a R or M to survive.

Good attitude to have. I am finding working on myself and getting rid of the baggage fills my time and keeps me busy- less time to think about how lonely I am.

I also tell myself often that everything happens for a reason- I just don't know the reason yet!!

Come hear and post to others- you will feel less lonely and probably make some good friends!

Cathy,

Thanks. I have been reading the board for quite some time and decided to try my hand at helping some people. I think everything happens for a reason too and your right, sometimes we just can't see it yet.

I like that-everything has a reason-just don't know why yet. My problem is all the good things like going to work and school don't seem to matter to much to me either. I have to struggle really hard to do them.
