I did speak to H on it, no we aren't "speaking" but he agreed.......didn't want to let the house go and loose that much $$ on it. I have emailed him telling him that if I can't put it on the market for what I want to, then I am not going to sell it through him. H had a great point, if he gets us to put it on the market $20,000 below market value, then he only loses $600 off his comission. It's to his benefit to take that cut and turn over the houses quickly.

If he doen't get back to me by noon today, I am calling him and canceling.

Hello all! Well, the real estate crisis has passed. I am out of the contract (have the originals in hand) and that's that. I contacted the realtor that my parents have used since I was like 7 years old. She agreed with me on the price/area. Says I am dead on. So, she is coming today to fill out the necessary paperwork to list the house. I figure if I am going to pay someone, I want to pay someone who is going to be honest with me. I know this woman will be I have known her for a long time. At one point, she wanted me to date her son......so I imagine that she likes me.

In the meantime, I listed the house on my own and the response I have gotten is amazing. We created a website with the pictures of the house because there was sooo many people asking for the pictures. There a quite a few who want appointments to see the house. So, I imagine that I can sell it quickly. (or, atleast I hope)

H and I are doing well. He listened to me with my last complaint and has been getting more done around here.

So there are lots of good things here. House is getting done. H and I are doing well. House is going on market today with reasonable realtor. Oh...and I got second row tickets to Ozzfest this year with the Party Like A Rockstar package. I am taking D10.....she'll be 11 then and really wants to go. She is going to love the VIP treatment and the backstage privileges!! Heck.....so will I!! This coming Friday H and I are getting a night away going to see Korn and Mudvayne...so....there just seems to be so many good things that are making me really happy!!

Oh my........I left out the best part. I got a job offer. It is contracting for insurance companies doing home visits for blood draws, physical, etc. They offered me $35/hour to start!! I will have a centrifuge here in my home to spin down the specimens and then I call for pick-up of all the specimens for processing in a lab. I get to schedule appointments at my convenience with the clients applying for life insurance policies......so, I don't think there is a better position out there for me!! And, I can't turn down that kind of money!!!!

Thanks C4H! I'm pretty proud of the way things are going too. The realtor is going to be here soon, I just want to get this over with and have the piece of mind that my house is on the market and being taken care of. My starting price is going to be $30,000 more then the other jerk wanted to put it on for. I mean, what does he care....if he gets me to list 30k cheaper realistically he is only losing $700 dollars. We stand to lose a heck of a lot more if we list that low. I also found a house in my area that is comparible to mine, listed for $40,000 more then mine is starting at. This whole real estate game is frustrating.

Haven't been around much. Too much to do here. Things are going good. Almost too good. My house just got listed in the state MLS yesterday and I already have showings tonight....so really busy getting things ready. Five interested parties. Ay yi yi......maybe the house WILL sell quick. I would love to come home tonight to an offer!!!!

Been keeping up with everyone but just haven't had time to post.
