Nope. Sorry Kev, but you did not succeed in locking me up!

And no, I haven't forgotten all of you either.

Work has been extremely demanding, but in a good way. I think I mentioned previously that I got a new boss back in July. He's good but demanding. That's okay; I've needed that kind of pushing in my career. He's interested in my education as well, so he's sort of a mentor.

My classes resumed in October, so it's been a bit of a struggled getting back into that groove. Only seven classes left after this one, though, so yay!

I'm keeping things pretty low-key with the holidays coming up. It's not clear to me what any of my kids are doing yet, so I'm just trying to stay flexible. My mom fell and broke her ankle nearly a month ago, and she has about 8 more weeks of healing ahead of her. This was after she decided NOT to relocate to my town 2 hours away. I've been doing the LD thing taking her for her dr's appt's, and she had a home-health aide coming in to help.

Things have been going very well with SO. He misses me a lot when he's on dad-duty, and it really seems to reinforce what he wants for our future. No, he hasn't proposed yet -- not sure what the hold up is, but he still talks about it, so I know he hasn't backed down.

We've had a couple of very stressful situations and I've done a pretty good job of using my editing skills. Bottom line is sometimes you just have to keep your damn mouth shut. I find it's usually worth it.

Love you guys!
M
