Hope your H's head is better. My H's is a bit messed up and I'm hoping it is the post-concussive syndrome thing. He was in a car accident a week ago. Rear ended at about 30 MPH at a stop light by a guy who dropped his beer. At first it seemed like it was aches and pains.
But, his head started to get a bit foggy when his pain increased. We think the shot of Tordol (sp???) was wearing off by then. Thursday, he said he felt a bit confused, it was very late, he was exhausted. Friday, he started making mistakes with words and having problems saying numbers. He doesn't seem confused mentally, but seems to be having problems getting the right words out.
We went to the ER, cat scan was fine and they admitted him. Today, they did an MRI but apparently we won't get the results until tomorrow. Neurologist was hopeful that it is just a concussion. He is still having problems with saying numbers (mostly years), and has made a few other odd slips, but I think it is better than last night.
I'm VERY frustrated that he had the MRI at noon and NO ONE has looked at it yet.
