I would LOVE to do that, but have not been able to figure out the insurance obstacles. I'm still working on it though. Why is your doctor suggesting the thyroid test? If there's true reasons to be suspicious, then request ALL of the following tests (usuallt they only do TSH):
TSH, Free T4, Free T3, and anti-TPO antibodies.

Yes - but this wasn't me. In fact, it was when I began compulsively recording everything I ate with that online service that I finally saw that it absolutely was NOT an issue of what I was eating. It pretty much blew my mind, that it was even possible to diet so perfectly and exercise so much and not lose an ounce. Clear evidence that my metabolism was not up to par on the dose of thyroid I was taking then.
