Wait. What's this now?

Wild Turkey. I think you said Wild Turkey. Yer not goin' anywere. Where's my shot glass? BF? Can ya pilfer one for us here?

Ya can't just go cold turkey and wantonly destroy my innocent nostalgic feelings for Winnie the Pooh like that with your lascivious name then take the honeypot away.

...Now that I view that greedy honeypot-clutching sugar-addicted bear as an SStarved pervert wearing that stupid too small tight red shirt while pantsless.

What is it with these bears anyways? Yogi wearing a fedora, collar, tie, and nothing else? WTF? Nobody thinks this is freakin weird? Oh, boy, I'm losing it.

Would be funny if people had to wear these "outfits" though...walking down the street...to work, the store etc. I think the Iran sitch would get a lot less serious really quicklike.

Jeez. I think the stress has finally made a few cracks in my hull. Can't let "goofy" seep in. I leave that to Disneyworld.

So, HP (to wrestle yet another topic back tonight), I can understand your decision and I support whatever you do. Yet another cool chick. Excellent. Godspeed.

Honeypot,

I completely understand why you would want to do this. I'm contemplating the same thing myself, but I'm not quite there yet.

You know how to reach me....you've got a friend real close by Honey! We're putting up that nice big pool this summer....you and the kids (and the hubby) ought to come up for the weekend...ride horses, cookout....drink margaritas?!

Honeypot,

Sorry to see you leave.
Your post have held so much insight in the 8 months I have been on this board. That will be greatly missed.
I myself have not been posting as much of late but don't think I am ready to just go cold turkey from all the wonderful people here and all the insight that makes me really think about things.
I will miss hearing about all the adventures with you little ones as well as all your straight out/up words and perspective of situations. But am very happy for you that you do not feel the need to be here anymore.

I wish you luck and fortune on the rest of your journey called life.

Had a long talk with H who has been "ignoring" (his words) me for 10 days. Really, it's nothing more than conflict avoidance. He asked me to get him a book on CA so suggestions are welcome!
I asked why he thought that ignoring me would make things better and he said It won't but then I don't have to have a confrontation. I replied, A. What are you expecting to happen; and B. How much worse does a confrontation become when it's been "ignored" for a period of time?

So.......no real resolution yet. I don't yet have the energy to make it happen, but things are happy and nice nonetheless.

Oh and Scott, I was quite offended to hear you refer to my children as demons. That's just not true.

The word you are looking for is hellions.

Thank you all for the well wishes! Wish I could write more but my arm hurts so I'm callin it a day.

love to all of you!

HP,

So - did your H have something he needed to confront you about and couldn't? I'm just not clear. Maybe he just needs one of those assertiveness books like Chrome has been reading.

Would that assertiveness book that MrsNOP was quoting from be helpful?

Corri,
Did you feel my presence with you on Sat nite? I went to the mall to pick something up for H. I had been there maybe 10 minutes when I felt this ridiculous smile spreading over my face. It just felt so gooood to be out of my home and away from my hellions. Anyway, as I was driving home "I will survive" came on the radio and I blasted it and completely dorked it up in the minivan, looking over at the passenger seat and wishing you were there.

I will miss you too.
