So, does that mean I have a week to work it off so it doesn't show up?????

Green tea is great for you. It is full of antioxidants and stuff. I've found when I have 2 cups a day, I lose weight twice as fast. The first day or two it will send you running to the toilet but after that your body gets used to it.

I very nearly went to a tanning place yesterday when i had extra time, but I'm so scared of those things. I DO NOT want that old leathery skin that so many women in their late 30's and 40's have from too much tanning. it is just not worth it for me.

Hey SH!

You sound great today! Keep it up girl!

For the tan, I've got that covered, naturally, pretty well! I'll try the oils though--sounds good. I'm gonna busy some today...I'm tired of being so itchy all the time.

Green tea...I ran out I think, but I usually have 1-2 cups/day. So good for you. The best thing for me has been working out...taking care of myself radiates from there...I watch what I put in my body, want to look nicer, etc.

Yeah, I mentioned looking better, yesterday. I'm trying--just a little mascara goes a long way (I don't do well with makeup). Did my nails, nothing special, but little things.

SE,

Yes you could work it off by then.

I really only wear lip gloss (I ran out and got a new color the day after be broke my heart). This is the new me. Plus I have been taking extra care with my clothes and hair. If you look good outside you feel good inside. This is the best I have felt about myself since I was 30.

A14, I am so jelous my H has light skin for a Mexican but it is still that beautyful color. He never looks ill durring the winter like I do if I don't tan.

I will try the green tea, I do drink that when I go out for sushi. Hasn't made me run to the bathroom though.

had a bowl of leftover pad thai that I cooked....healthy? who knows....tasty, YES! tonight is beef stew, cuban style. Gotta love the crock pot!

So far so good...ate 2 servings of fruit and gaining on the water.

Thought for today...this morning, I was working out and saw the sun rise over the beautiful mountains that were getting snow. I also heard an elder say a prayer to greet the Dawn: "Today, I will live well. Today, I walk in beauty."

Now THAT'S how you start each morning.

Ohhh....so that's what I'm doing wrong. I start the day by changing a wet diaper!

I guess I'm doing ok. FF Yogurt for breakfast. Lean Cuisine (2 points) for lunch. Then ofcourse, a piece of the stupid streudel bread I made for H.....it taunted me. I even went so far as to hide it to no avail. So, I have no idea what the points is for that...I would guess about 7 or so. Ugh...I told him to take it with him.

I guess I am having a down day. I'm tired of the extra weight. I'm bummed out about everything. Got that old want to stay in bed all day depression creeping back in. Came over me real quick.

((((SE))))

Anything trigger this? You're beautiful...remember that...we're all trying to get healthy for ourselves, and we WILL. I think you're remembering losing 40lbs in 1 month, and that isn't gonna happen again (hopefully never under those circumstances). We're all gonna take this 1 step at a time, and come out just fine.

You've been having a string of good days with H, you're getting lots done and are moving to a beautiful home and will sell your current one for boats of $$.

You're tough, I know you're gonna get through this...you're doing so well. You can't stay in bed all day---we need you here!!!!

I don't think there was a trigger. I was just going about my day. I know I've gotten some things accomplished...but somehow I still feel like a failure, a loser, etc. It seems like everyday just keeps going by and it's the same old thing. I like to think I'm making progress around here, but painting one hallway and thoroughly cleaning isn't a whole lot.

As for the weight, I know I'm remembering that massive, quick loss and I know it wasn't healthy and I wouldn't want to go through that again. But, I am soo tired of looking in the mirror and seeing what I see. Honestly, I gross myself out. Maybe my trigger was caving in on that stupid bread. I think it's going down the garbage disposal. It isn't worth having around.

Things are still ok with H. He's having a rough day. Tonight is his last night away from home. Thank goodness for that.

Sorry I'm such a drag today......I hope to be better tomorrow.

ITALIAN PASTA DIET

1. You walka pasta da bakery.
2. You walka pasta da candy store.
3. You walka pasta da Ice Cream Store.
4. You walka pasta da table and fridge.

CONCERNED ABOUT TOO MANY CARBS IN YOUR DIET?

For those of you who watch what you eat,
here's the final word on nutrition and health.
It's a relief to know the truth after all those
conflicting nutritional studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat 'lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION

EAT AND DRINK WHAT YOU LIKE.
SPEAKING ENGLISH IS APPARENTLY WHAT KILLS YOU

I got this recipe of the WW's board. I'm sure the oatmeal can be substituted.

2 Apples
1 WW Oatmeal Pack
2 Packets Splenda
1 Teaspoon Cinammon
1 Tablespoon butter (optional)
1/2 cup water

Instructions

Pour water on the bottom of a pyrex dish.
Cut apple into thin slices. Layer across the dish. In a separate bowl, mix oatmeal, splenda and cinammon. Sprinkle on top of the sliced apples.
Cut butter into little peices and sprinkle across the top.
Bake at 325 for 35-45 minutes or until apple is soft.
