NG, My suggestion to you is to change the "women" above into "I". Take personal responsibility for what you do. I know that you basically do, but changing that one word changes the whole thing, kwim?
I am a woman but I am not a complainer. (massive eye roll from my audience, lol) That is, I complain (vent) here about my H but I do not gripe about all the little annoyances of life. I just let it roll off my back. That's my particular temperament. Along with that temperament, though, are many many faults. Being TOO lackadaisical about things might be one. If I were to talk of my faults in terms of gender it would dilute the effect of admitting a fault, kwim?
Just some thoughts for you.
BF, Thank you for the compliments. Ahem, I think. I laughed out loud at the description of MrGranite. That is so true. I am not a princess and he aint no prince. We're just regular people trying to get thru raising our little kids and keeping the spark alive. One thing though: I would have never touched those flowers again--he would have retrieved them before I did. As it stands my D6 retrieved them because she thought I threw them out because the baby knocked the vase over. (which she did) LOL For all of you wondering whether I felt like an ass by showing my daughters how to pitch a fit, the answer is YES.
