Chuck told me once to take when H says something like "I missed you," or in this case "You didn't give me a chance to say hi, want to ride along with me?" at face value. he said it's true int he moment. Sometimes it's really hard for me to take it that way when I feel betrayed and suspicious so often, but sometimes I can, and it helps. Hope it helps you.
