I've been trying soy for about 5 days now and though there is no more diarrhea she can't keep it down. She drinks it and within 20 minutes or so, bam there it is.
My dad is doing so-so. My favorite sister, the one who..gulp..abandoned me had to come into town last week so she could see him before he got really bad. She stayed with me and it was really fun. My husband was the *ultimate* host, even giving up his spot in bed so she and I could sleep together. (we don't have a guest bed at the moment, since our kids take up every available bed) He couched it. Whatta guy. I was so proud that he was my husband.
He and I are doing pretty good! We had a semi-rough night last night where he was up to his old tricks...berating me, being critical, etc. However, I looked him straight in the eye and told him that I would not tolerate being spoken to in that way. I didn't get mad and escalate the whole thing, I just stayed calm and kept reiterating my position. Lo and behold, he was standing before me within 30 minutes apologizing for the way he had been acting all evening. This stuff really works!! We went on to have a good night together.
