I don't want to think about it. I get upset thinking about infants in pain. Can't even watch TV shows that have scenes showing infants being hurt anymore. My boss has a pre-mee with a malformed trachea, so he has a breathing/feeding tube in his neck. He says the baby cries just like any other baby, making that pitiful face and open mouth, but no sound comes out except a little gurgling from the tube sometimes. I'm getting teary-eyed just thinking about it. Ugh! Ugh! Ugh!
