I'm so happy for you. I'm not so very smart though, I've just gone through this and had the same feelings you have, just like many folks on here. Communication is just so very important in an intimate R....keep this up, keep talking with her....you two are well on your way

This is great. My wife and I had a (somewhat less dramatic) feeling after we attended Retrouvaille. I would warn you not to get too "head in the clouds" about this breakthrough. You need to realize that this will be a long process, with setbacks, stops, and starts along the way. Don't let the inevitable setbacks deter you from the long term goal. I am a very big proponent of Retrouvaille sessions as a way to learn to communicate better. Although my W and I do not follow through on all they taught us, I would be living alone with D papers filed if we didn't go to it. You may want to look into it as it sounds like increased and loving communication is the first order of business in your sitch. Great first step and good luck to you.
