Hey who is weird??????

I agree though i looked twice at snag as I thought they may have meant shag and I am an Aussie.

Now Kismet listen to these yanks calling us weird as we have weird terminology, they can talk....they don't say "Where is the toilet" it is "Where is the rest room" - I don't believe I would be resting in there especially if someone before me had left a horrible smell.......so how do you not call that weird????????

Greetings all

Although I would enjoy some beers and some snags. Hmmm....

P3 just let me know when you are landing in Oz, and I will fire up the barbie and chuck a few coldies in the fridge for you

Kismet, you curvy girl you, you find the coolest things on the web

Thanks Al, but I didn't find, I just forwarded. Did you see some of the people bidding. The boys might be relieved to know that girthymanrod retracted his bid

Al, all I know is that "snag" rhymes with "shag." Maybe it was some kind of cockney rhyming thing--you know, when they say something that rhymes with what they really mean, which is some incomprehensible slang word anyway. I'm confused just thinking about it.

amd you are right, we do tend to use the rhyming slang eg Joe Blake for snake. Unfortunately it seems to be dying out a bit, which I think is a bit sad. All the young kids seem to just speak gangsta slang.

Scary moment Sun when I looked down and realised that I no longer had my mother's engagement ring on my finger. These are the only rings I wear now, and it is a lovely ring ~ gorgeous diamond set in platinum and gold.

My heart just sank. Got home and undid pipes in the kitchen and bathroom. No luck. Then sat down, said a little prayer and retraced my steps for the day. I found the ring inside my exfoliating glove. Huge relief.

Not much else to report. Wah still very much absent. Do find my thoughts wandering at times. I think it is a combination of lousy weather ~ very overcast, and the fact that due to lousy weather haven't been able to run those blues away. But generally, quite happy.

Thanks Kim, Beth, VJ and Ruth for dropping in. Let's hope it's a great week

Not us, it is the rest of the world

Yep, I am sure those boys would have been thinking about shags too. Apparently ebay pulled their listing off, and then some media mob got hold of the story and it got put back on.

LOL!! Yes..had a lovely weekend. Actually Tina and I are actually in the city right now until Thurs. She's watching tv and I am down in the bar having a drink and catching up on stuff. T is at home. We had a very nice weekend...but he's feeling a bit under the weather. Hopefully he will be able to join us in the city before we leave.

Kismet I saw on nine msn today that they have their latest bid at $85,000 from some French guy....nine msn has taken it off their headlines now but it was there this morning.

I cannot believe people bid on these things and surely they must have to pay up. A bit like that girl who sold her virginity on e-bay, I think she was from the U.K.

Kismet -

After you have the hymen surgery you can sell your virginity again on e-bay! But who knows what you'll get!

Lisa, enjoy the rest of your break ~ don't do too much work!

Hey Kim, I just checked and they are knocking back a lot of bids as not legit. Top one is still a guy though @ $13 500. Gee I would throw a bbq for that!

Lol, Beth or even how much! Could be pretty sad ~ a 40 year old virgin. What if I have to relist due to lack of bids

Well the sun is well and truly out today. Council boys turned up in full force and the drain has been cleared, which is a relief. They also graded a road down, so there is a fire break too, as have had fires to my fence once before. So all that worrying for nothing.

PMA crashed again just briefly. Went for an earlier jog yesterday and so hot, and sweaty. Sweat in my eyes, and then before you knew it had a bit of a cry. Can't even recall what it was about, but just felt blah. Yoga followed by a wine and nice vege curry helped. I cry so much of late, but think that is a good thing, as generally healing tears. Started writing a short story that thinking of entering into a competition, which was very therapeutic.

Off tonight to a movie premiere with drinks/nibbles. Freebie for basketball season holders. The movie is Mrs Henderson, so that should be good ~ love Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins (I could take him home). Also checking out a friends paintings (I could take them home too)

Bought myself my valentine's pressie ~ a gorgeous silk gown with butterflies on it. Very girly and just the thing to wear when I let my chooks out of a morning

So in general same old. No contact from wah. Life goes on
