Kismet -

Glad to hear S14 is coping pretty well. We are going to tell our kids about the D this weekend. I am going to talk with my C about having them talk to someone. I think it will help them adjust to this.

4 days and no chocolate? Allow yourself a small piece today. You deserve it!

Oh and 4 days with no chocolate!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

That explains all that inappropriate posting I see from you on other threads.

Hmmm, you could be onto something Al. So purely for scientific purposes , I had some last night. Notice I visited your thread and acted only with decorum.

Beth, I think chocolate may have secret fat melting powers. Last night weighed myself as only gave up chocolate after trying on clothes. Had chocolate last night, and this morning weighed myself and I am a whole 2 kg (4.4lbs)less

It may have something to do with the fact that I have just spent 1 1/2 hours pushing the mower around and am totally stuffed, but I going with the chocolate theory.

Small pitiful thought for a nano second. Just got a letter from a friend and I was thinking Originally we met as both in the same boat, our kids were born 1 week apart and then both had problems conceiving #2. She solved her problem and went on to have 5 more kids, including twins. So today, for a minute, I thought how similar our lives were then, and how different they are now.

But reality set in, and I realise no way would I want 6 kids now unless they had a gorgeous hands on Dad and a nanny Lovely letter though.

Beth, your children will be fine esp. as you are so concious of the situation and have your counsellor to advise you. Plus you are a great Mum.

So if you are dropping in ~ have some chocolate(for it's fat melting properties ) and a cucumber sandwich (cos we're playing ladies today)

I have one piece a night of the chocolate mints from Tiramisu...if I remember...but the past 24hours have been carb city...WTF is up with that? I am not huge on carbs...and have been eating bread like there is NO tomorrow. Not good. No more bread will touch these lips for at least a week! I've got suede pants to fit into next week!!

Can I just say I hate Mowing??? Thank goodness for the winter time. My neighbor next door planted some kinda grass and he gets to mow all year long.

No fat melting powers - you wish! Chocolate's a diuretic. That's 4.4 lbs of water you lost. 4.4 lbs of ugly, sloshy, liquidy, wet water. Yuck. Good riddance!

Could be something brought that on, usually ingesting carbs will create subsequent carb cravings. Me, I crave protein and fats. Well, actually, I don't crave, I'm naturally satiated by protein and fats, another reason why I don't eat that much. Burn fat for energy, gotta love it!

I don't crave that either.

Pooh But yes, you are right, plus I sweated a bucket load mowing the lawn, sorry glowed a bucket load,as ladies don't sweat we glow, and if you live in the tropics you glow a helluva lot, esp. pushing a mower up a hill

Sassy I can identify with the carbs thing, which is why I don't eat them, (except in fruit, and chocolate) it is like turning a switch on and I will empty the fridge after eating them.

OK, maybe we shouldn't be talking about food, just finished a big slice of matured cheddar ~ mmmm protein and fat

Well it's not like me to crave anything other than an occasionally hankering for medium rare ribeye...but that's it. Yesterday went to the store picked up Garlic bread, Focccia and then cheesecake coffe cake.

As a matter of fact, I better go work this stuff off...

Ya'll behave tonight!!

This whole experence for me has been enlightening. I have not eaten right for 3 months. I have lost a total of 43 pounds since August. I eat one meal a day & sometimes I can't even eat that. There is a good side & a bad side.

Well there's something good to be said about finishing what you start.

Deadeye, that is a lot of weight to lose. Are you a healthy weight now? I knew I was emotionally healing when I regained my interest in food, and it's well and truly back
