Isn't it horrid though, it is one of the magnetic ones, and new car is all plastic inside, not one place where he can stick. So he is protecting me from the centre console tray.

Had a lovely day yesterday. Very hot day, so just stayed inside and got domesticated. S14 went to movies. He had a mate over who I haven't seen in 6 months and puberty has hit in the meantime. I am thinking S is being rude so introduced myself as didn't recognise him. He had changed from a smallish boy into a man sized boy, voice changing, whole face changed. I guess I have that in the not so distant future as mine hasn't grown into his feet (which are huge) as yet, and I think will be over 6 foot like my brothers.
I am meant to be in the garden today and it is pelting down rain At least things have cooled off and when it stops, I can go out, but no signs of easing yet.
LOvely night last night. I had 3 friends over for a birthday dinner for 1 of them.Nothing much but largest entertaining I have done to date post bomb.
2 had never been to my house and loved it. My house is very different, very basic, very open. I don't have windows on one side, just flywire screens and shutters to pull down in cyclones. So you either love it or hate it. When we bought it wah loved it, but towards the end hated it. Just keeping seeing the bad points.
But I still love it and am continually amazed at the comments I get from nearly everyone who walks in. So it was a gentle reminder to me how lucky I am to have a place to live in that is a haven to me.
Great night, lots of eating and chatting. Just comfortable.
Wah's 40th today. Have not seen/heard from him in nearly 1 week. Will get S14 to call him and I did buy a lovely set of pilsener glasses for him. He used to love Guiness but who knows these days.
I just sent him a text message; "Happy Birthday Old Fart. Have a good one love w & s".
