Greetings all

Feeling a little bit pleased with myself, entered a web competition where you had to give 6 beauty tips and I won! Can't recall what I wrote, some waffle. They will be put online in one of the future articles and I got a bundle of Clinique goodies as a thank you.

Clinique is one of my favourite brands but not purchased of late. It's not a biggie, but it certainly helps out. I would love to be able to comp. for a living but my wins are very sporadic, and although had some big ones, not enough to live on. I never pay for movie tickets though

Also got a cheque to reimburse fees for college this year, so I can breathe again financially. And on that note after buying S14's school uniforms, hit the shops and picked up a linen dress and top for 1/5 of their price. They are both classic styles so know I will get years out of them. Oh and 2 pairs of sexy knickers at 1/6 price. Woo Hoo!

Downer as trying on clothes made me face facts that there is now more of me, so went for a run/yoga, had healthy stir fry pumpkin for dinner and no chocolate!



NYS ~ I always envisioned the angel just generally hovering over me. Now I have images of it riding shotgun, and braking at close calls I have to admit I did hunt out the St Christopher medallion that came with last car, just in case. No accidents in that car in the 6 years I had it. Hey, I will take all the help I can get

Didn't realise that your H has been gone for that long. It does show that time flies doesn't it?? And we do grow stronger each day.....

No Yoyo, I can't count ~ it's only nearly 8. But still, that's a long time. Oh and yes, when I finally land the fulltime job, I plan on getting extra help in too. You would be crazy not to, if can afford it.


I know you could become a stand up comic ever thought of that, I reckon you would do a good job an imagine the comments you could make about WAS's.


Thanks Kim, now that would be widening the comfort zone big time. Do I have the guts? Wouldn't that be the best ~ to make all of this hoo haa we are going through pay it's way, big time! Not sure if we have any venues here though, will keep it in mind.

Must remember to change my perfume. Yesterday for some obscure reason I became a babe magnet literally. This cutest little toddler ran up to me, wearing shades and gave me the cutest wave, while Mum and I just looked at each other. Then later on, another little girl started toddling after me, with Dad chasing after her.

Good thing though, I realised I am really and truly cured of wanting a 2nd child. 12 months ago, I would have been in the car crying after that, but I just felt happy. Happy they were so adorable and reached out. Happy that my 14 year old baby is nearly self sufficient. The end of a long journey.

Yes, I rambled. No, I am not apologising.
