Tim & TMU,
You're banter in today's posts have made me laugh, cry and given me a special insight that got me through today and hopefully many more. Namely,
Focus on what you have, NOT on what you don't.

I'd give anything to have my WAW still living under the same roof (or would I?). She too lived 'estranged' from me while still together and I didn't know about DBing until a month after she left to live with her 'true' love OM/BIL. She had been emotionally D'd and checked out from me for well over a year planning her great escape.

But really, isn't DBing more for us LBS's - detaching, "act as if", 180's, PMA, GAL, etc?
Cherish what we have, like our kids who make our lives worth living and give us purpose. If it wasn't for us, who would they have? Who would care for them? WAW? I think not since they're so intoxicatingly engrossed in their self-centered, self-dilluted, its-all-about-me world.

You guys have grow so much in such a short time. I myself am encouraged by what you've learned and what we continually have to re-learn and remind ourselves of. Stick with it!! Keep us the excellent work!! Remember, this race we choose to run is a marathon, not a sprint. Let's keep encouraging one another one and not give up.

Sorry for the highjack...
