Damn, you are one tough mother! I am pretty sure I don't have the strength to deal with "Helping my wife get on her feet so she could leave me easier." It would be at that point when self preservation would kick in and I would lose it. I'm proud of you (I think) for dealing with this in a mature way when many of us would not.
