Hi there Ellie and everyone

I weighed in at 68 kilos today. I started my period yesterday as well, it was petty late, I guess the begininnings of menopause are here, so not the best time of the month to get on the scales!

I have taken to heart much of what was written in the above mentioned book - The Seven Serets of Slim People - and know that I will be OK, given some time. It says you may even put on weight at first, before you lose any. It allows you to "make friends" with your body again, instead of being annoyed with it or hating it! Probably a healthier attitude than my perfectionist one, the side effect of which is an all or nothing attitude.

So, I'm hanging in there!
