Dutifully weighed myself yesterday morning - although i forgot to do it until after breakfast - and it was a horrifying 173 lbs.! Now really, I know it's been the holidays and all, but i was still being pretty good about my eating (okay, except for a few pieces of fudge and some bread pudding ). So, I got out my measuring tape, and was reassured to see I have lost 1/2 inch in the waist and 1 1/2 inches in the thighs since I last measured in mid-November. That kept me from panicking, and I just picked up and went back on my diet. This morning, I thought I'd recheck it - and I weighed 168! Just shows you cannot be a slave to the scale.
Did the Firm exercise videos 3 times last week (MWF) and again yesterday. D15 could only manage once last week - it made her so sore - and did it again yesterday. They are tough! I wouldn't recommend them for anyone with bad knees, as they involve a lot of step work on a high (14 inch) step, but if you're tough enough, they're a great workout. Less annoying than a lot of other workout videos, too (I don't feel like smacking the instructor after the second viewing).
I have to take S19 to get his wisdom teeth out this morning, but expect more from me later about New Year's Resolutions.
