WOW, prego!!! What an insight!!! It hit home here. My H used to feel inferior too. It was one of the main reasons when he first dropped the bomb: "I am tired of the feeling that someone has so much power over me!" And you know what? I did have. That was the whole problem. He would roll over and play dead if I asked him to and threatened to leave. Reading your stitch made a few things more clear to me. H was also a sucker for compliments (which I rarely gave him). OW is also inferior to him.
