I'd say sure, as long as he is coming to your house and you are not to his. This is Christmas, while we have to maintain the darkness, no one would expect you to not have CHristmas with your family. Maybe keep conversation with him to a minimum, and use the opportunity to be beautiful and cheerful and like he is missing out on something.
