Wow guys! I didn't expect to come back to all this attention over getting a new number

But to clarify a couple of points. H does know I know about any calls back and forth between the two of them. When I see anything abnormal on our cell bill, I question it and I have questioned him about calls in the past which is how I know it's been 2 months since contact. I try to do this in a nonaccusatory tone. Also, we talked before about changing our numbers once we made our move to help eliminate calls locally which would be long distance due to our number. Very important for husband since he is in a service/repair business. Me not so much because I stay at home and can just use our landline. You see, I was very lucky when we moved because my employer allowed me to relocate and provided me with equipment to work from home.

I really don't care if I get a new number one way or another. I talk to my family on the weekends when it's free long distance so that's not even a factor. But I figure if he's going to do it, I might as well too.
