Hi Everyone and thanks KDK and YoYo.....

Well H hasn't ended up having any trouble with his boss at work, so his boss must have thought better of it or my H misread the sitch but nonetheless, H feels better as he is ready if anything happens so that is good.

Well we have been having very hot temperatures the last few days here in Melbourne. Friday and Saturday were stinkers, Can't remember Fridays Temp but Saturday was 40.7 and Sunday was 43 degrees. Today is only 26 which is much better.

My S9 was outside yesterday with his thongs on and got stung by a bee (1st bee sting ever) anyhow he was screaming and crying and we got the sting out and put ice on his foot and soaked it in a bucket of cold water and though a little inflamed and swollen didn't seem too bad. A couple of hours later though his foot just kept getting bigger and bigger. We both had a rather sleepless night but I didn't rush him off to the hospital as he wasn't having trouble breathing. This morning though he developed a rash as well and I thought OK best to get this checked.

We went to the doctor's who said it was an allergic reaction but very slow acting for some reason and to still keep an eye on him especially around the mouth. He prescribed something, can't remember the name and also some anti-histamine to slow the inflammation and said to use Panadol as well. Said it may take a week to go down and that he should go on crutches due to the size of his foot and to keep it elevated.

Off we go and get the meds and the crutches and I have never seen someone so unco-ordinated on crutches in my life. He plays football and cricket but is hopeless on crutches. He doesn't balance well and doesn't get them right under is arm pits so falls over, don't know if they will be much use but maybe a bit of practise.

Anyhow we will keep an eye on him and apparently if he gets another bee sting we have to watch him closely as more than likely he will have a worse reaction the next time if he is indeed allergic otherwise it will be like normal as the reaction this time might just be to the sting as in a reaction to a bite so we will see.

That was drama enough for me.

H and I went out Friday night and had a good night and he stayed and then Saturday we spent the day together and he took S9 home for the night and I went out with Jarrod and a couple of his friends. Sunday H came over we watched a couple of D.V.D's, had tea and he went home about 8.30pm.

So not a bad weekend, things going along at a leisurely pace, I am still feeling a bit indifferent so we will probably just plod along like this for awhile I think.

Well that's it for my update so until next time....Kim

Hi Kim ~ well life is never boring. That must have been a big scare with S9. Let's hope he is not allergic

After all that drama, I hope you have a nice boring week.

Egawds!!! I've been stung once by a bee...the little SOB somehow crawled up my pants leg...swear to God felt something crawling up my leg...and I smacked it...boom...oh I screamed...tore my jeans off right there and then and there was that little bugger attached. My BF at the time and his father (oh yes, I had no shame, I was in pain!!) were in hysterical laughter...of course I was a mere 17!! And yes, AL and BB, I was wearing pnaties!! SHEESH!!!! Minds out of the gutter PALEEZ...see know you both OH TOO WELL NOW!!! (the watch is ticking....)

My exMIL is allergic, she has to carry a Gold shot (or something like that) because she can die if she gets stung and doesn't receive an immediate injection...hope he's feeling better. Too bad about those crutches, maybe he's trying for a little sympathy?

Ok, how do you like that? I go do something for awhile and Lisa starts stripping her pants off. It's starting to give me a complex. BTW, why the heck wouldn't the bee want to climb up your leg....I know I would (saw that one coming didn't you?)

It's a good thing they call you Big Al or we'd be worried about your little stinger.

Lisa you reminded me years ago I was bitten by a snake. I saw the snake but didn't realise it bit me until started feeling funny. I was wearing jeans but no knickers, so had to put knickers on before I rang the ambulance. (even though I know you are meant to keep still and apply a pressure bandage ). No way was I going to die with no knickers on!

Brother/sister in law were visiting friends down the road and saw ambulance race up the hill, and came up. In the meantime, my dog had killed the snake which was now a mangled mess. So snake and I off to hospital, where they did a test on snake to find it was not venomous. I had just reacted to the bite. But all hospital staff found it funny and came to look at mangled snake.

Sorry Kim, was this your thread

All right. There's a lot of bad advice going on around here. Just when I was musing on the fact that Kismet goes around with no underwear on, you start telling her to stop it. But then again, you did insert the "sleeping naked" image. Ok, we'll call it even.

Hi Kim! Had to read through all the hijacking and panty stuff - who are these people? Just kidding - thanks for the laughs!

You'll have to keep an eye on your son with the bee sting. Glad he is okay now! How are the crutches going? Is he able to get around without them now?

Sounds like things are moving very slow but still in the right direction with your H. That's very good. Maybe you can start setting some small goals you would like to see from him. It's a start!

So, do you have any panty stories to add?

WCB
