Today Andy brought Alicia back from her New Year break with him. He was really late again, by nearly 2 hours and her nursery session was about to start so I had to call him and ask him where he was. He said he'd be another 5 minutes. I told him that was too late as it takes me 20 minutes to walk to the nursery, and asked him to drop her off there for me. He said okay but he hadn't fed her any lunch and said he'd come by mine first, I could give her something to eat and then he'd take her to nursery in the car.

I said 'Just 5 minutes, Andy, I mean it.' (I didn't want him coming in the house). He said he'd wait in the car.

He came by with Alicia's bike he got her for Christmas and bags and bags of presents from a customer of his, his mother and my mother and then proceeded to explain what everything was. I nodded.

Then he went and sat in the car while I gave Alicia some food. While she was eating, DD2 came in to say hello. She was wearing the furry jumper I got her for Christmas.

I took DD4 to the door, passed her to Andy and asked if he'd brought my CD back and the picture that DD1 did me for Christmas. He said no to both counts and said he'd lost the CD - it was part of a French course that cost £300 so I'm not impressed. I asked him to find it, he said he would.

Then they left. I went out shopping and then when I collected DD4 later, her teachers asked me if Andy was allowed to collect her too. I said no, just me, that he could drop her off if he was late, but not collect her.

They said they thought that was the case and were checking with me because they knew he's broken the law before. I thanked them for their concern and their reassurance.

I got the DVD from when she was in the pre-school Christmas Nativity play last month and we've been watching it this afternoon. She played Mary.

I'm on it, and Andy at some points, including one bit where he's singing but I fast forwarded that part, LOL.

Work wise, the BBC TV called me today. I thought it was going to be another TV shoot but it was the producer of this programme who wanted information for a lady who was on her TV programme.
I thought to myself, why get the TV company to call me? Why doesn't the lady call me herself? Strange.
