My first gut reaction when my H just disappeared on me the way he did the other night was "How Rude!" It really irked me that he did that...and then it hurt my feelings as well.
FWIW I did say something to him when he did that. When I walked in and saw the room dark...I asked him "weren't you even going to say goodnight to me?" He said "Oh I was just waiting for you, take your time." He wasn't waiting for me....the lights were off, the tv was off, he was lying on his side....he was trying to feed me a crock-o-crap.
