Hairdog asked if I might exile myself from this board after I go head to head with Mrs. NOP, but I feel so involved in this group. I think about the people here all the time with great fondness and ponder people's situations and problems as I go through the day. That was the origin of my "casting call" post. I was walking and realized that in my head karen's voice is the voice of Susan Page who sometimes takes over the Diane Rehm Show. It's so interesting to have a group of "friends" that you've never met in person, you don't know what they look or sound like, but you're privy to very intimate details in their lives... And the fact that we can communicate instantly day or night. It really fires up the imagination.
BTW, what have you decided about meeting SD on your vacation? She sounds like such a lovely person-- and fun, too-- great sense of humor. I hope you do get to meet!
