In one of your posts about one of your dates, you said a guy took you out on a date and only took you to a VFW, Legion, or similar type club. You said it was a boring date or the guy did nothing for you. It was soon after I posted something on one of the threads you posted on and the thread was about what women want in a man/dates.
Although I don't really know your whole personality, likes, dis-likes to any real deep level, I can joke around with you when I add the "cheap guy image" to my posts. To me, it kind of makes what I write look like (my image, to other people and maybe you too) something that is not going to happen or who would take Lou seriously.
I over do the chit chat with you and then throw in some imaginary fault I have, like only going to the VFW or similar cheap date site, and mostly just drinking a diet soda. That way if I go overboard in some area or topic, I want anyone reading my post to you, to have a little bit of "O right (negative), is this guy serious" moments.
Short version, it makes joking with you safer for me and hopefully for you too.
To other posters here on SSM, on many of the primary forums Jill post on, the more outragious, funny things your post, the more you are part of that group. I kept posting some serious things (maybe too whiney or cemarish) and Jill suggested I was being a drag and attacking their ideas or the posters on her thread. She asked me to stop posting on their thread so I did. I was trying to change some of my MO's with BB to be more attractive and looking for and giving my opinions.
Later Jill posted on my thread and had what I would call emathy for what I was writing about in my situation. I took some of Jills advice (especially with her) and started to kid around more.
Hairdog has me beat by a long shot in the kidding dept. but being serious is alright with me.
