Hi,

Just wanted to post a little ditty from my XW that's posted on her blog. I don't know who it refers to, probably an internet love or perhaps "John Mayer", who knows. Ya know, it is so much easier to love someone you don't know than one you do. It's knowing them that makes it get hard.

Quote:

Have you ever loved someone so much, it hurt ~ but in a good way?

I don't know that I have ever felt so blessed. I'd like to shout it from the mountain top. I love you. I love you. I love you.

You mean the world to me. It's there. It's amazing. It's deep rooted in me.

Peace.

Funny how you can love someone so much it hurts, say that to the person, and then say "I never loved you". :P It's also interesting that it was 11 months ago she was saying the same thing about a "man" she only knew from e-mails that turned out to be a woman. Remarkable how easy she falls in love.

Anyway, her drama is not mine, on to more important things. Love is a stupid subject. I had so much fun on Friday night. I went all by my lonesome to a restaurant/bar and started talking to a group next to me, two girls and a guy. They were so nice. It's refreshing being around people that aren't emotionally closed off. They invited me to join them at this other bar which I did. That was fun. One of the girls was quite interesting and interested in me and I'll leave it at that. Oh, she was an actual, real-live, non-internet person.

Yesterday Christmas shopping and hanging out with my ex step-kids along with recovering from a hangover. I did talk to this new acquaintance. We'll see.
