Attitude definitely makes a difference - there are many overweight women who have no problem attracting men.
I am actually at my lowest since my 20's - I hit 166 today. I think I really revved my metabolism last week doing so much walking. I have been sick and not exercising as much (though still walking some every day), but I am being very careful about my food. It took a long time for me to break 172 - I would hit that point, then bump up, but I finally cracked it! I am very happy.
