Ellie, I can relate. I am at my highest weight too--30 lbs over. I lost 35 in 2002 on the Zone diet and kept it off until the beginning of this year when my H and I started to work on reconciling. Then I just went nuts on food and a little beer too. Anyway, I look back at how I looked before I lost the 35 in 02 and I kinda dressed like my mom (yuck!). When I lost weight I started trying new clothes (shopping in the Junior section at 42 years) and decided to keep shopping young when I started gaining (not Juniors anymore but same styles in bigger sizes ) And I grew my hair and let the natural curls come out. I've had more compliments! I don't always see what they see when I look in the mirror but it makes me feel good when they can't believe I'm 45 and have a 22 year old daughter! And, yes, more confident attitude courtesy of DB helps alot! However after the holidays, I'm going back to the Zone!
