Jeez, Ellie, can I have some of your breasts? I had them with the extra weight, but I'm back to my prepubescent status now. Oh well, I've been told I look like a taller, more modern Audrey Hepburn. I think that will do just fine... Now, to land roles opposite a modern day George Peppard in New York!

But in truth, I know that the truly healthy weight for my slender frame is between 130 and 140 (depending on how much I build my muscles).

This range was true for me too when I was younger. But have you ever seen a middle aged person whose face looks... gaunt and older... because of those few extra pounds lost?

When I was on this path, I set myself a goal of 140 too. But when I got to 145, I looked at myself in the mirror and really liked what I saw. Some qualified input from good friends helped me accept that I looked best with a few extra pounds.

I then got to 140. And you can't imagine how many people told me they thought I looked too skinny. Imagine!

So why not get to 150, cut yourself a little slack, and see if you aren't totally jazzed with it? If not, stick to the program a little longer.

I just know of few tall women in our age group who look good that skinny. You're muscular and probably need a little nudge in this direction. After all, you need your strength for boarding, don't you?

Good wishes for you on a really personal and worthwhile journey! I'll live vicariously through you guys.
