Good morning Ellie!

Just checking in to report that my weight this morning was 68 kilos, so off I go!

My plan is to eat more or less normally for breakfast and lunch, though emphasising the veggies and not the carbos. I am more or less vegetarian anyway. Also, no second and third helpings, no chocolates and cakes galore, maybe some once in a while. But don't have too much about the house! At tea I can have a mug of tea and maybe even a bicuit or two, and for dinner, just some fruit and raw veg salad if I'm hungry. I find it easiest to skip a big meal at dinnertime and always feel great the next morning after a light meal or none at all. You should try it!

I walk D to her school and back twice or thrice a week, that's about nine miles in total, of brisk walking on the flat. Have to force myself to go to the swimming pool once a week (it's mainly boredom with doing non-stop lengths for an hour ) I aim to drop a kilo a week. I know it's do-able if I stick fairly well to my plan. I would like to break through the 60 kilo barrier one day too!

I haven't bought any new clothes this year, I promised myself I would only after losing weight, I don't want a wardrobe full of big clothes - then there's no incentive! Perhaps I will go out and get some nice clothes at the end of this.

So, what's your plan for losing weight Ellie? I realise what a delicate postion you are in with your D13 in the house and her eating problems. Are they under control now? I will not mention dieting to my D, just tell her that I don't feel comfortable at night after a big meal. It's what I have done in the past. Also, no weighing myself in front of her. She saw me on the exercise mat this morning and came and gave me a hug and a nuzzle.
