Hey guys I am still here but have been rather preoccupied so I apologise.....
My girlfriend had her baby 9.13am Monday morning and we had had 2 false starts over the weekend, so have been catching up on missed sleep and cooing over the most delightful little baby boy. It was such and honour and thrill to have been present at the birth and to have witnessed such a magnificent event. Yes he will be very spoilt by me. It is the closest thing to having a new baby myself. (As I really don't want any more 3 is enough for me)
She is very much left of centre and none of my other friends are quite as original and my dear friend "Tania". Her and her husband have called their son "Urban" (after "Keith Urban", you know our Aussie Country Singer that just won your Country Music Award and he is maybe engaged to Nicole Kidman). Anyhow they both love him and think he is wonderful so they have named their baby after him - yes unusual but hey each to their own.
Anyhow I have been and visited him each day and he is just so sweet...hohum.....
As for my other news don't really have any just been plodding along with H. He came over Friday night for awhile and then took S9 to the drive-in to see Harry Potter. H has just been giving me a kiss on the cheek lately although Friday he gave me a better kiss and a huge hug so that was a bit of a change.
Saturday he dropped S9 off and much the same with the kiss and the hug but he had to work afternoon shift so said he would come by Sunday for a coffee. He did this and same again although he wanted to ML but I didn't feel comfortable as I don't fully trust his intentions yet it could just be that he was feeling toey and I was available or so he thought. I do not want to feel used.
Didn't see him Monday as he is on all lates this week but was off yesterday and today and he came over last night and came with me to see my gf and the baby and he left around 11pm so that was nice.
I am not seeing him tonight as I have volleyball and the Casualty Dept at his work is having X-mas drinks so he is going to that...of course he wouldn't ask me. He did say we could go to the pictures in the next week if I'd like so we will see if he mentions it again.
He has also said that he is off work for X-mas day this year and that he might stay X-mas Eve if I didn't mind as we have a get together X-mas Eve a bit like an open house and he thought he could stay and be there for the present opening X-mas morning. That is the plan at the moment but we know how things can change. I am still deciding what to do about Lunch and Dinner more so Lunch as that is at my Dad's and lets just say I don't know how Dad will take him as he is very disappointed in him at the moment and they haven't spoken.
Well I don't have alot more to say really, I am flat out at work leading up to Christmas everyone wants stuff done before the break. We are breaking up on the 22nd Dec and coming back to work 16th Jan so that will be a really nice break.
