Ok...so you, your doc, and your MC agree that you should discontinue use of this one med. Your W should be all for it. It would be different to me if you were going off of this because you simply didn't feel you needed it any longer and hadn't consulted the proper people.
I suspect that there probably wouldn't be a "good time" for your W for you to discontinue use of this med...so I'm with you 100%, I think it's her trying to control you. Because afterall, if you don't stay on the drug and you do go off it after she's asked you not to....then you obviously aren't taking her wishes into consideration now are you? BAH! HUMBUG! That's a load of crap and she knows it.
She's not taking your well-being into consideration at all....and THAT is very selfish.
