Well, as they were real I'm not sure you can draw any significance from it. In dreams they symbolise love affairs, unless trapped or dead.
I too saw a mother deer and her baby in a forest in Ireland when I was 15 (real life). I did actually fall in love with Andy 18 months following the sighting but I don't think the 2 are connected.
