My dream book isn't published yet - I'm still working on the final manuscript (completed the draft manuscript) - it will be published in the USA and UK next year (middle of the year, I should think, or maybe Spring time if it's quick, but I'm thinking more next summer).
Please bear in mind though, that there are many different types of dreams (e.g, release dreams - also called healing dreams, wish fulfillment dreams, processing dreams and finally prophetic ones).
The number of people that can actually have prophetic dreams is quite slim, certainly Andy doesn't and never has had them, nor has anyone else in my family, but I have had this ability since age 13.
I also feel that the person's emotional status and life experience should be known to see where he or she is at (for instance, on here I know everyone is hurt and going through a D) before any prophetic significance is suggested.
Remember, as well, that you have free will and are in charge of your own life so you could easily make a different decision and alter the outcome and what was mentioned in your dream anyway. We are all in charge of our futures, it is not just some haphazard fate and therefore, dream analysis is meant as a helpful guide, not an absolute concreted in stone, science.
Hi Cristina Maria (that's a pretty name, BTW - my DD1's second name is Kristina).
The roller coaster is obvious symbolism, really, you feel you are on a roller coaster with life and your emotions are going up and down and all over the place.
The beach is a spiritual symbol - it's a kind of transition point between Earth and Heaven - this means your physical self is uniting with your spiritual self more. You are thinking more deeply about your life.
The pathway is your path in life, your future that you have to look forward to.
Im still around and still Dbing but mostly for myself these days as it should be. Thanks for the interpretation although I have mixed feelings about sex with the X. Good thing it dosnt look like THATS gonna come up anytime soon if ever! LOL!
I had a dream the other night. It was "interesting" though I don't know if I want an interpretation of it!
I was in a park with a friend (don't know who it was) and along comes OW1 (who used to be my good friend, in reality). OW1 starts talking to this friend, and I am kind of just hanging around, not joining in the convo, looking away. Then friend says, OW1 has invited us to her house, do you want to go? So I sort of fall in with their plan (God knows why!) and we go to her quite large flat. It is supposedly council (state provided) housing, her H is still there. (In reality, she left her H just around the same time as my H dropped the bomb on me, and she had a smallish flat). It is pretty messy, rather like hers used to be.
OW1 makes us all a drink of some sort - coffee? - and on top she sprinkles a good amount of clippings of her hair! (OW1 has very distinctive, very curly hair) I am lookng down into my cup at this hair topping, and feeling revulsion, both because she thinks I would want to drink something with her hair in it, and also because seeing that kind of hair makes me feel icky. (In real life, when I see someone with similar hair, I still feel a passing anxiety...)
At some point, my H is also in the flat, obviously very at home there, because he goes to the fridge and helps himself to stuff and whatnot. I feel it is time to go and take my leave...

PS I would be interested to see what you make of this dream. Funnily enough, typing it out I can clearly see some of the significance!
"The unexamined life is not worth living" - Socrates
The park is a spiritual place that people often dream of after a breakup, that signifies healing from pain (unless it was a children's play park, then that means love affairs and joy).
The large flat is you feeling threatened by OW1 (that's why it's bigger than her flat in real life). Her H being there is you wishing he still was; you're putting him into the role he ought to be in.
Coffee signifies arguments and hostility ('wake up and smell the coffee'), either there will be an argument between you and OW1 or you are straining at the leash for a fight with her. Basically, you're after this woman's blood, LOL
Cutting hair is a sign of hidden jealousy (probably on her part, since it was her hair, but maybe on yours too) - as a general guide, long and healthy hair is a symbol of good luck and love affairs and sex, while cutting off hair or short unhealthy hair means the opposite.
Your H and the fridge - LOL, that is funny - he's acting 'frigid' with you, he's cold and unfeeling and his emotions are frozen over, in fact he might even be acting that way with her too.
Thank you JO. Thankfully the roller coaster has come to a halt for the most part. The dream was almost five years ago. I'm still on the beach path, I think, so I'll just wait and see where I go from here.
Quote: The park is a spiritual place that people often dream of after a breakup, that signifies healing from pain (unless it was a children's play park, then that means love affairs and joy).
It seems like these are statements of fact... this is what I have a hard tome connecting with. How can anyone draw a definite correlation between say a childrens park meaning love affairs and joy?
I just do not see how it can be stated that this correlation simply "is". Wouldn't it be better stated as a "usually" or "often"?
Well, the interpretations are based on a mixture of my own personal experience in what happens after I dream of those symbols, various psychological theories (Freud, Jung etc) and traditional interpretations based on ancient Greek/Latin writings which have been passed down. These writings are usually where the more 'direct' interpretations come from.
There are always going to be some differences in opinion as to what they mean, and they could vary from person to person depending on that person's experiences of life. For instance, if I went to Paris with a friend, both me and the friend would come back with different descriptions of Paris. I might describe the scenary or the food, and she could talk about the museums and the art galleries, but at the end of the day, despite different descriptions, we are talking about the same place.
And like with the MMR debate, for every handful of doctors who say it's safe, you get another handful of doctors and parents who say it isn't. There is always going to be disent about everything
AND another thing I forgot to mention, is that dream interpretations can take YEARS before they materialize. Most of my own prophetic dreams happen within 6 months of me dreaming them, and some a few days after, but the longest time span I've ever had for a dream to come true is 5 YEARS.
I dreamt of my wedding dress in it's exact detail, 5 years before my wedding day, and before I even realised who my future husband would be. I should add that my wedding dress is very distinctive in detail, and is PINK, not white so it's not hard to mistake. I dreamt of this pink dress with all the same details when I was 13, and wrote it down in my diary. Then 5 years later at 18, when I was planning my wedding to Andy, I saw the dress in a Bridal store sale. It was end of line (only 1 left) and in my exact size. I realised it was the same dress from my dream.
So you could think that something isn't going to happen, but maybe you're expecting it to happen quickly, and they don't always
I thought I'd put some of my dream diary on here so the skeptics can see what I mean, LOL.
I have had two separate incidents of deer sightings (doe) that happened in my real life...not in a dream sequence. They happened in the space of 2 to 3 months apart. I drove my car and saw the doe walking in front of the car and moved on into the woods. These sightings occured at least about 100 yards from my home.
I am wondering about the significance of the deer. Perhaps you can offer some insight. Thanks!
