Just a thought here. Perhaps this was your H's clumsy way of being more forceful and "manly" based upon your previous discussion of manly men. Not the best approach to be sure but I'm sure your statement really struck at the core of his self-image.

Lol with my luck it would be just that. Pick one area you know I am going to get pissy. I hate being woke up.

Now if that tree that came down two weeks ago in a storm was to disappear soon without me saying anything about it. I will view that as manly taking iniative without being told to. Or the lawnmower gets fixed without me harping again manly initative points with me.

Well I am off to get some much needed sleep!

One of those AOS people, eh? You all are the most expensive people to keep happy. When I'm feeling down, all my wife has to do is give me a hug. When she's feeling down, I've got to remodel the bathroom or something. Due to her recent mood, I'm on my second bathroom in two weeks. Hugs are much cheaper.

Chrissy,
Is there a time when he can initiate and you are receptive and welcoming about it?

If not, then it's no secret why he chose to be an insensitive jerk. If you are are sure 'no', then why try to do it at an appropriate time..what's it gonna matter right?
If there is, then I would encourage him to stick to that time and give him praise when he does. (praise what you like, then you will get more of it)

I totally get what you are saying about sleep being off limits, tho.
It doesn't bother me to be woken up for nookie but it would enrage my H. Everyone's different.

Try not to read more into it other than he was horny and was hoping for the best. It is really hard lying next to someone whom you want to have sex with, night after night, knowing they're off limits. I doubt he was doing anything more than making an impulsive move that turned out bad.

I am guilty sometimes of assigning all this 'meaning' to my H's moves when, really, he's just a guy doing guy things. Do I need to say anymore than that.

lol

HP,

Any time is better then when I am sleeping or sick.
I am fairly open to his advances other then those times.
As of late he has not been chasing and groping me on a bi hourly basis. So I have become a little more responsive to his advances. I have even been making sure I take the lead a few times a month. Okay that may just mean I tell him to drop his drawers but still it is me openly letting him now I am willing ready and able. Which until I read so many people on here saying how they wish there spouses would take the lead sometimes I really never did.

I doubt he was doing anything more than making an impulsive move that turned out bad.

Agreed it was his comment the next day regaurding my being exiled from my room that has had a lingering effect with me.

This happened before that convo. And even had it not being a manly man does not include veiled threats. It is really more of his normal behavior trying to manipulate me through fear. I did not bite though.

Sorry if I got the timeline wrong. I did not intend to imply that his behavior was appropriate as it most certainly was not. I was just suggesting that to call into question your H's manhood is something that will hit him very hard and will most likely result in fairly dramatic (whether positive or negative) reactions.

especially since she was self admittedly, Chrissy was way behind her 'monthly quota'. sounds so appetizing when put that way.

Again I say Young lady you have too much control for your own good.

Mary poppins was crazy, zany but too prim and proper. definitely not you. she drifted off alone in the end. Sound of music girl was willful, scattered, independant, definitely different and no paragon of virtue...... (too lusty to be a nun and letting a 16 and 17 year old cavort about in the rain after dark)but she used it to make her(yeah she chose him alright) strong man a better person.

Balto,

Gosh you remodel bathrooms when your wife is in a tiff.
Were do I sign on for someone like you!
You and Lou are the handymen of the board.

I am not really a AOS person for personal things(okay theres a shocker) And I do my fair share of household/yard AOS myself. But I do like the household AOS H does and they do mean something to me as long as I do not have to nag or bitch to get them done.

Balto,

So you equate manlyness to malehood. Interesting. Will have to ponder on that one.

Oh no you may have just empowered me some more!

So a girlfriend and I took a road trip today after a job interview to get our sat costumes for the festival where we work. It was hard work we are not allowed to be scary and I tend to go for the more sensual looking outfits anyhow so that was not a problem. But finding something fun that lacked sex appeal was almost two hours of problematic for me.

When I got home I put the black feather cat mask I had gotten on along with a black fur trimmed sweater and some black undies and tail.( S10 was concerned thats how I was going to work he can be such a hoot). I waitted around for H to get home so he could tell me if the sweater and mask was a good mix but he was late and I got bored waitting.
Just as I slipped on my jammies H got home. I told him he missed me being all felined out waitting for him.

BF.

Chrissy was way behind her 'monthly quota'

Catching up quite nicely though!

but too prim and proper. definitely not you

Do you have any more options for me?

Loved your opinion of me on HD's post. I think it is safe to say you are getting parts of me figured out!
You got a ways to go still though
