Jo - Seems like an iffy call to me, giving you those pills on the basis of a somewhat soft ultrasound finding? Are they truly worried about a tubal pregnancy? Or just being overly-cautious?
Seems like you could safely wait a week and recheck that HCG (you know, it's not like lab errors never occur.) Doctors have been known to be awfully wrong about things on occasion when it comes to pregnancy. Even if you had a tubal pregnancy, it would be unlikely to go bad in the next few days.
