Jo - Wow! That's one heck of an update! You don't think the drugs you had to take and the stress from all that has anything to do with being late do you? (happens to me a lot, stress really messes my body up)

If you are expecting, I'm so happy for you. My fingers are crossed that what ever your heart truly wants comes true.

A Clearblue brand name test would work at this stage, probably but they are the most expensive and I can't afford it this week as I'm in my overdraft.

Cheaper tests won't pick it up - you have to have at least 10 miu of HCG in the urine and at this early stage I doubt the count would be that high.

In my last pregnancy, I tested positive on Clearblue with only 3 miu (according to my blood tests) and the nurse said she didn't have a clue how the test picked it up so early because I was only about 2 weeks at the time.

However, I can't afford Clearblue at this time and all other tests (going by past experience) don't work until I am at least 2 weeks late for my period. I have to wait a few more days at least.

A blood test would pick it up but I don't want to tell the dr yet and we don't get antenatal care in the UK until 10 weeks gestation anyway.

No I don't think it's the drugs as I only had 5 injections which is not enough to make a difference - also that was in August and I did have my August period which was on 25th August, normally, after those needles.

I had no drugs since because of the side effects and was waiting for 'day 1' before visiting the clinic again, except day 1 never happened.

And actually after I backed off from Andy, I am not stressed in the least. I'm also never more than a week late normally, never, since I started my period at age 12.

Congrats! Maybe, possibly. Glad you have such a great outlook about it. If you have a baby can I borrow her for say a couple months per year?

Awww, Wes, that's really sweet.

You're really broody, aren't you!? (I saw the warning signs when you asked XW to have your baby, lol).

If I have a baby, you can only have her if I get invited on an all expenses paid, all inclusive trip round America and it can't last for more than 30 days as I am not allowed to leave the UK for more than 30 days (court order).

(j/k).

You are so sweet.

It's a deal

Jo,

WOW!! How will Andy react?

XW sometimes talked about having another baby. I had dreams about it also, but she never said who she wanted the father to be. At the time I think I was a possible choice because we were having sex once or twice a week.

I would have persued it a bit, but with the CPS issues, drug issues with XW I was scared to bring anothe child into the sit.

If you are with child I support up 100%, let us know when you know.

I have worried that if you stay split with Andy that you would leave the board. I for one don't want to lose contact with you. You are an inspiration to me no matter what happens with Andy.

When things are down with XW and me, I feel like I have not much left inside to help others. I am sure we all feel like this from time to time, but I consider you to be a much needed friend and value your advice.

Jo,

I bet just one injection was enough to make you late.I would call the dr and ask if I were you.

Wasn't it a hormone you were injecting?

As I said before, that was 2 months ago. I had my August period since then, fine, and the clinic phoned me expecting me to go in on 'day 1' . If it was the needles, I wouldn't have got my August period okay. It has been weeks and weeks since I had any drugs at all in my system.

I'm just going to wait a bit longer.

Jo.
