Congratulations on the raise, Hairdog. I just got one myself last week; now, instead of "underpaid," I'm only "somewhat underpaid."
To keep this on topic...I conjecture that financial difficulties may exacerbate an SSM. (Certainly, they're not going to do anything to help it!) Does anyone have empirical evidence to back this up, of awareness of financial difficulties eating into desire?
