I don't hear the fear anymore, but I hear sadness, resignation, loss of enthusiasm, as if you this were some final, futile guesture and you've concluded you will never see or interact with her again.

Maybe. I don't think it's a final futile gesture; I could pick the rope back up and continue with the friendship. Whatever the outcome from a deep, meaningful, intimate relationship standpoint, I think we'll be friends. The resignation and lack of enthusiasm is true. I am enthusiastic about me. I spent last night doing nothing that great....shopping, rollerblading with the dog, watching football, chatting with a friend. I ate cereal for supper. But I felt good. It was a nice night because it's what I chose to do. Tonight I have my kids so another nice night.

Thanks,

Me

No. Mortal enemies. I've got a mechanical pencil with your name on it. It's called #2.

Just kidding. Of course. Always.

Whoa. Go back and read what Jo posted on the mechanical pencil symbolism.

And then try saying that again.

Or perhaps you shouldn't?!

Huh...

Gee, if I didn't know any better, I'd think Mr. W was in a bit of a funk these days...

Are you keeping your supply of K-Y handy, dude? Sounds like you could use a shot of endorphines...

T,

I forgot about the symbolism of the pencil (Hope, Jo says that mechanical pencil is a symbol for a one night stand or some kind of sex). That's okay...I don't take it back.

I get along quite nicely in that department without any help, although the warming kind sounded interesting. I'm getting all the endorphins I need. And no, I'm not in a funk

Pencil is a symbol for penis, specifically one night stand or temporary flirtation (because pencil marks can be erased) and a pen is a symbol for penis, specifically long term R or marriage as pen marks are permanent.
