Call me old fashioned and conservative (if you want), but if I was in your shoes, I would be ready for an episode or two of making love. Not that I have anything against wild, crazy sex, but you've been waiting a long time to re-establish things with your X and if it were me I'd want passion, but to be able to feel love as well.
Maybe sometime soon you'll be wined, dined, romanced, coddled, cuddled, swept off your feet, and then ML, rather than just literally swept off your feet and thrown on the bed without preamble.
