Journalling.. Sunday. H called when boys and I were browsing in a bookshop. Told him we were gonna watch "Sky High" and he said "Oh..yeah. S8 did say so the other day". Then I was about to end the call, H said "boys don't wanna talk to me?" So, did pass the phone to the boys. Later, in the evening, H called again but music was probably too loud, had a missed call. When I saw the missed call, I texted him " You called? Anything? Call you later. Waiting for the maid. She's late. Boys are getting impatient". Next thing I knew, H called on my mobile and said "Since you said that you all are impatient and waiting...so, I thought I'll call and chat with you...blah blah blah". So, we chatted (not really chatting) but H spoke to the boys abit. Then back to me and H said "call me when you are home, and settled. But not too late, okay? So, went home, tucked boys in bed. Got another text from H "Watching Batman Begins. Am so bored". And not long later, H called me on the home phone. We sort of chatted abit. H: Forgot to tell you, am flying to Country Y either tomorrow or Tuesday Am. Have a meeting there. Supposed to come back. But you said boys are going where? Me: Boys off during weekend with my parents. H: And you are off to Mauritius when? Me: Wednesday till Sunday. H: What airline? Me: Air Mauritius. H: But I will definitely be back on the 26th. Me: I thought you said this week, you'll be back for work? H: Yeah. Supposed to. But you won't be around. So, have to check with you to synchronize. But definitely be back on the 26th. Me: Err.. you know the money transfer for the apartment? Blah blah blah... I whined a bit. Yes, backslid on this part. *sigh* H: I'll see what I can do. Call you tomorrow or see how.
So, that was a backslid. I texted H after our phonecall. "Pls pls do the transfer by hook or by crook. If all else fails use Western Union. BTW, S8 other results for his exams 88 and 68 %. And good luck on your meeting". No reply. *sigh*
This morning...Monday, I am trying to LET GO and not dwell, but really needed him to do the transfer. So, sent him a very very short email just to remind him on the transfer. No nagging, no whining, no R stuff. All I said was "Just a reminder to do the transfers."
Okay, I am gonna make myself LET GO of this Issue and Incident now...and not dwell further after this POST.
