Sounds like atleast he is atleast willing to talk some about it. I think things can get better but it takes work on both parts. Your smart not to bring it up too much as you will be seen as nagging. You can not let this just go on tho or it will be a life sentence. ( I am currently serving 25 to life) Since he admits to having a problem then encourage that he seeks treatment. I hope things get better.
