I guess it is OK to admit here that it's sad hey? I work so hard, 24/7, on detaching, GAL, smiling, being happy - that when the sadness hits I get scared it will overwhelm me. It won't though. I've survived this long - one silly anniversary isn't going to knock me over.
In some ways it's funny. He never remembered anniversaries and I suspect today is no different. Celebrate anniversary - or get a pest certificate? It's all just semantics really!!!
I think I might invest in a bottle of wine to enjoy with my dinner tonight. I'm going to celebrate that I survived another day, happy in my work, enjoying my life, having a good hair day - they are all cause for celebration. Maybe the pest man will be good looking - there'll be something else to celebrate!!

H hasn't called me all week. During the past few weeks while I've been practicing the last resort, I've tended to collect all the things I need to speak to him about and then do it all at once when he calls me.
Since he hadn't called, it got to the stage this afternoon where I had to call him because the accountant needs some stuff.
I called and we had a very brief convo. I told him the three things I had to, he was gruff and sounded distracted, I signed off cheerily. I was upset when I got off the phone, because he'd been such a prat.
15 minutes later he called me back. Said sorry he was distracted he was talking to someone else and then he went through his list of things to tell me (I think he's DBing me!!).
I just don't get it - and I don't think we are getting anywhere.
Oh well, it's a long weekend and the weather is perfect. I'm going to kick back and enjoy it - what else is a girl to do?

Hey WB, wondered what was going on it your life. Well DB life sure is a rollercoaster. So how come you guys have a long weekend? I know there is talk up here (and petitions) to have Monday a p/h here due to the Cowboys getting into the grand final, but 2 chances I think.
Make sure you get out in the sun this weekend and laze like a lizard (with sunscreen and cabana boys)
I heard Premier Beattie rabbiting on about that this morning - this long time Tigers fan doesn't think there will be any need for North Queenslanders to take Monday off!!!
Monday is Labor Day here - Yippeee ... I love a long weekend.

WB (apologise in advance for the hijacking). No, Thatguy, we aren't talking Australian Rules, (that final was last weekend), we are talking Rugby League (which is an entirely different game). Go the Cowboys!
I wondered if it might be rugby. I couldn't find any Cowboys in the AFL. Used to love watching Australian Rules on ESPN back in the college days. Looked like fun.
My only knowledge of rugby is the hat that my mom brought me from her trip to Austrialia and New Zealand. Maybe I shouldn't say this but it was an All Blacks hat.
